What sort of events can Serendipity Farm host?

Weddings, anniversaries, receptions, family reunions, holiday parties, corporate events, or anything you can think of.

What does Serendipity Farm provide?

When you book your single-day event, we’ll provide white dining tents, tables, chairs, white linens, portable bathrooms, outdoor seating, outdoor games, an outdoor bar with canopy, and staff to set things up and keep things clean and running smoothly. Tableware is available at an additional fee.

When and for how long will I have access on the day of my event?

You can access the farm property beginning at 9 a.m. to begin decorating and preparations. If there are no events scheduled before yours, we can also arrange for earlier access should the need arise. Music must end by 11 p.m., and all decorations removed and guests safely on their way by midnight. Again, if no events are scheduled the day following yours, we can arrange for next-day clean up for your convenience.

When can I conduct wedding rehearsals?

Rehearsals can be conducted on any available free day prior to your wedding, or the morning of the event.

What happens in the case of rain?

We can’t control the weather, so be prepared for the unexpected. Should it rain, events can be held inside the barn. The tents used for diners also have sides that can be lowered to provide more coverage. If weather predictions look unfavorable leading up to your event, as a last resort we can reschedule your event to another available day.

Is there space available for the bridal party to prepare?

The farmhouse has a guest bedroom with a spacious bathroom set aside for the bride and her party to prepare.

Will guests have access to the farmhouse?

Other than the bridal party, no other guests will have access to the farmhouse. Guests with special needs will however be allowed on a case by case basis.

Can I use my own caterer?

Yes, you can use whatever caterer you choose, cater the event yourself. We have space for your caterer to prepare, and have charming mismatched tableware available if needed.

Can I serve alcohol at my event, or can I bring my own?

Yes, you can bring your own alcohol, but you can’t sell it; but Wisconsin Law requires you to hire a licensed bartender to serve all alcohol and an open bar.

Can I bring my own decorations?

Absolutely. Serendipity Farm has some antiques on site for you to use as well. All we ask is that you don’t use staples, nails, screws, or paint, and no open flames (i.e. candles) inside the barn.

Can my guests smoke?

There are designated smoking areas for your convenience.

Where can my guests and I park?

A parking lot is located to the east of the property, and shuttle service is provided between the lot and the barn. Guests can be dropped off and picked up next to the farmhouse as well.

Can I get a tour of the farm and the facilities?

Absolutely! See our contact page to schedule a tour and talk to Stacey and I directly.
